I recently had my sister's wedding here at Berwick Lodge on Saturday the 2nd of June and the experience was an incredible one. The venue and location were both stunningly beautiful; the staff were ever-present and exceptionally helpful and also happy to serve us and do their job to a very high standard. The room I shared with my cousin was immaculately clean and well kept, in addition to being furnished with remarkable beds and wardrobes; even a balcony with an incredible view of the surrounding countryside. The 3 course meal in the evening was served to us very efficiently by the staff and we were waited on for any needs at all. The food itself was beautifully presented and bursting with flavour (salmon starter, chicken wellington main, and a sorbet frozen yogurt combination for pudding). The whole event was a resounding success, and all our invited guests have come back to the family to remark on how Berwick Lodge and the wedding itself were both extremely special!

Such a beautiful hotel within the most gorgeous grounds. The interior is amazing and the food is the best I've had yet. The service is fantastic and everyone is so friendly. I have been here twice now and can't wait to spend another weekend here.

Thank you Best Western Henbury Lodge Hotel for a wonderful nights stay. The bedroom was clean. The bed was comfy. The shower was amazing. We had a lovely fan to help keep us cool. The breakfast was very tasty and well presented. The reception staff were lovely. Thank you so much for an enjoyable comfortable easy stress free stay.

Staying here felt like being in a small family run hotel. Really friendly staff, an excellent chef and a nicely stocked bar. The rooms were well appointed and very clean. Wifi coverage was very good also. All in all a great place for both a business stay as well as a weekend getaway.

Room always clean. Despite works for expansion I was never disturbed. Staff really made it for me very helpful and kind nothing was too much trouble. Will be amazing once expansion is complete.

Although undergoing refurbishment while we stayed over, the room was brand new and very clean, staff polite and pleasant. Great hotel near the motorway on the way to Cornwall, I would highly recommend.

Average local pub. Used to be a good fun place, but probably past its best days now. OK for a quick beer, don't know about food nowadays.

Very friendly atmosphere. Long wait for food as they are new to it, but well worth the wait as lovely when we did eat. Meat cooked to perfection and good range of veg, again cooked perfectly.

Very helpful when I rang to book a table as we needed to walk our dog prior to eating and they were able to give us directions to a local footpath. We were advised that dogs are only allowed in the bar which was fine by us. Very friendly welcome and good service. Great burgers and well cooked fish and chips

Decent west country cider pub. The cider selection is decent and prices are good value. They do breakfast, lunch and dinner. Portions are a good size. It has an Outside seating area and has a car park. They have functions on and live music so its an all round decent pub.

Highly recommended. Very nice room, neighborhood and view to a big garden. Owners are very kind persons.

I'd recommend a stay. It was really good change staying at this guesthouse from a hotel and had a comfortable stay. It's a family run B&B and the host was very welcoming. The breakfast was great.
