Nursery Schools

What's the difference between nursery and preschool?
Preschools usually work around a formal curriculum and trained teachers - making them a little more expensive! Nursery schools are usually a more relaxed learning environment and more flexible enrolment terms. They are also cheaper and vary greatly.

What age is a preschooler? Ages up to 4 is considered preschooler with toddlers are 1 - 3 year old bracket. Basically 4-year-old are not 'toddling' around any more and so are no longer toddlers!

What does preschool mean? A preschool, or nursery school, is a pre-primary school, or play school for early childhood education. Preschool is for children before they begin compulsory education at primary school.

Is Pre K considered preschool? Pre K schools are pre-kindergartens.

Nova Primary School

Barrack's Ln, Bristol BS11 9NG, UK – 0117 903 0446

Really pleased with how my son is progressing through the school. He started in reception and is now in year 4. School communications could be a little better, however, communications where it matters most such as school incidents are good, just sometimes letters about class trips or parents evenings are very short notice (especially for working parents). The facilities are good and I think the management team leads well. I'm excited to see the changes that happen when Mrs Morris takes over as head teacher in 2018, as we have seen a lot of positive changes since her appointment as deputy a couple of years ago.

This is my school,it used to be Avon primray, this is a big change, now im in year 4 i got new friends, plus my school is green not blue,im sad its green because i dont really like green, plus my friends are moving school, its hard to get to school on time though because school here starts at 9am.
