A lovely place to spend time with the kids and or dog! Lots of different paths to take, wide open space for all to run around. Its been a long time since I have been there and the park area for the kids is great! Lots of different things and a great way to spend time outside. There is a cafe there, haven't used it but seems nice. Used the toilet's to wash hands after playing in wet sand (due to the weather) seemed ok and tidy. Sometimes they have an ice cream van there and stuff on for the kids. Well worth a visit and next time with hope the weather will be good so we can take a picnic. Hope you can create some great memories of your own.
My family loves to spend time on the Blaise estate. My wife loves the reasonable prices for the cafe and my kids love the play areas. The walks through the woods are amazing and the views breathtaking, especially the shallow rivers. We would love some information boards by the popular stopping areas with information on the wildlife around you. A child friendly orienteering style course to encourage our beloved mini humans away from their technology.

As Museum's go, it's alright. Don't look at this rating as negative, it's a fun day out and there's a great park for children (one or big kids, one for small kids). It's a great place to go when it's sun but maybe not when it's nuclear. The Museum itself won't occupy a lot of your time and the displays are niche (however if you like toy collections theirs is split across two floors)
Great place for children and adults. It has some facilities for children and young people. Unfortunately, the historic castle not open every day but museum is open sometimes. Also the car park is free but not enough in the weekend or holiday.
Kings Weston House, Kings Weston Ln, Bristol BS11 0UR, UK – 0117 330 3405
I've known Kingsweston House for years and it is really touching to see it looking so lovely and the gardens beautifully tended. I led a painting group in the grounds,: there were dog walkers, joggers, people of every age, (if you can toddle or be wheeled it's perfect for you too), school groups and foreign tourists enjoying the grounds and tea shop. Its an asset to Bristol and the present owner.
I rarely go into the house but it's fantastic for a woodland / field dog walk and a cuppa in the cafe. A favourite spot!
